Salt-Stressed Coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) Responses to Potassium Silicate, Humic Acid and Gamma Irradiation Pretreatments

The application of biostimulants has great potential in preserving plants against abiotic or biotic stresses and is integrated into promoting tolerance acclimating coriander salinity stress. Deciphering the morphological, physiological molecular responses underpinning ameliorative aspects ecofriendly indispensable to link overlap seed priming. Hereby, priming stress using potassium silicate, humic acid, gamma irradiation were evaluated. Salinity generally diminishes vegetation, productivity, metabolic activities. However, abscisic acid (ABA) levels soluble sugars elevated. Pretreatments with silicate followed by rays, alleviated promoted growth parameters, yield components, vital processes salinity-stressed coriander. This promotion was concurrent an increase promotors, chlorophyll a/b, carbohydrates, antioxidants (compounds enzymes), upregulation RuBisCO large subunit protein expression. Collectively, best at alleviating adverse effects saline conditions. Triggered pretreatments might be engaged maintaining activities toward deleterious impacts. Thus, it suggested that effective regime benefitting salinized along nonsalinized sustain productivity.
